With two dates to finish the local championship, rushed by the start of the World Cup in Qatar in November, the 46-year-old Argentine coach said that Sunday will probably be the last day he leads River as a local at the Monumental stadium.
“It is possible that on Sunday I will have my last game at the Monumental. Just thank you for the love and affection you have given me,” he told the fans.
