Yulimar Rojas dominated the survey carried out by the Prensa Latina Portal, winning as the best Latin American and Caribbean athlete of the 2022 season.
Rojas was the most voted among the women thanks to her outstanding performances this year, in which she won and revalidated her diamond.

The 26-year-old jumper won 32 ballots in the poll, relegating Peruvian walker Kimberly García (9) to second place.
This is the third time that Rojas has won the Survey trophy, having previously won it in 2017 and 2019.
Rojas made history in 2022 by becoming the first woman to win three triple jump world titles.
In the world fair, held in Eugene, United States, the South American prevailed with a record of 15,47 meters, the best of the season.
