Patrick Mazaika was placed on assignment to make way for the Venezuelan

The New York Mets have given Venezuelan Yolmer a second chance Sanchez, this Thursday by claiming it from the Waivers list.

The announcement was made through the social networks of the metropolitans, where they also point out that they put Patrick Mazaika on assignment.

After a year of absence, Yolmer Sánchez's gold glove reappeared in the Majors this season with the Red Sox.

After eight years of experience in the so-called best baseball in the world, Yolmer Sánchez has a career average of .243 with 113 doubles, 32 home runs and 217 RBIs.
