Ildemaro Vargas He's still in the fight to earn a spot in the Nats' lineup. The Venezuelan had an outstanding performance coming off the bench this Friday in his team's 11-7 victory over the Astros with a comeback included.
The Venezuelan, who came on in the bottom of the sixth inning to replace Leonel Valera, also from Venezuela, went 3-for-2 with an RBI.
