Peralta arrived on fire from the World Classic

The man from Carabobo is already at his best for Opening Day

David Peralta He continues with his great offensive performances, ones that he had already had in the WBC with Venezuela. The lefty was fundamental this Tuesday in the victory of the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 over the Cleveland Guardians.

The Venezuelan outfielder went 3-2 with three RBIs. 

In the top part of the second inning, Peralta showed all his power by hitting a three-run home run and putting the score at 4-0 in favor of the Californians.

This was the first full lap hit for the man from Carabobo in Spring Training.

In the top of the fifth inning, David Peralta hit a hit and was replaced by Steven Duggar as pinch runner.

Peralta is coming off a great performance with Venezuela in the World Classic, in which he posted a .357 average in 14 at-bats and is already working with his team ahead of Opening Day.

For the Guardians there was Venezuelan action with Andrés Giménez, the infielder went 3-1 with a run scored.

Brusdar Graterol took the mound for the Dodgers and had a blank inning.

The winning pitcher was Clayton Kershaw. Triston McKenzie claimed the loss.
