José Altuve began with the entire month of July

“Astroboy” hit seven hits in 12 at-bats over the weekend

El Venezuelan second baseman, José Altuve, was one of the spark plugs of the Houston Astros offense in the first series of July at Minute Maid Park, against the Los Angeles Angels.

The native of Puerto Cabello hit a home run in the second game of the series on Saturday. While on Sunday he added his 17th multi-hit game of the season and 525 of his career, tripling five times at bat, with a run scored and RBI in the closing of the series against the "seraphs".
