Luzardo did not fare well against the Padres

The lefty suffered his fourth defeat of the season

Jesus Luzardo he didn't have the usual lucidity on the mound. This Thursday afternoon the pitcher was the losing pitcher in the 10-1 loss of the Miami Marlins over the San Diego Padres.

The left-hander worked five and one-third innings, in which he allowed four hits, five earned runs, one home run and struck out eight batters.

Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a rule double off Luzardo's deliveries that brought in a run. Gary Sanchez then homered off the lefty in the top of the fifth inning. Both totaled the stripes awarded to the Venezuelan.

With this defeat, Jesús Luzardo left his record level at four and his ERA was 4.05.

In this same game, Luis Arraez went 2-1 with an RBI. 

The winning pitcher of this meeting was Joe Musgrove.
