Women's Wrestling won two golds

Nathaly Grimán (62 kg) and Soleimen Caraballo (68 Kg) climbed to the top of the podium

The gold medals are extinct when there is only one day left before the end of the XIX Bolivarian Games of Valledupar 2022.

This time Venezuela does everything possible to continue adding gold medals, this Monday a new metal arrived as a result of the effort of Nathaly Grimán who authoritatively beat her rival from Bolivia, Ninfa Bernal 11-1 in the women's wrestling final in category 62 kg.

For the same day on July 4, Soleimen Caraballo, 28 years old, also climbed to the top of the podium in the 68 Kg category, after winning the final against the Dominican Republic representative Yessica Oviedo 7-5.

Caraballo achieved a successful participation, in her first match she defeated Paula Montoya (Colombia) 10-0.

In search of the pass for the decisive stage, she had to face the Peruvian Yanet Sovero, where the Creole was victorious with a result of 6-9.

In previous hours, her compatriots Mariana Rojas (50 Kg) and Betsabeth Arguello (53 Kg) finished second in Women's Wrestling in their respective categories.

In this way, the Venezuelan delegation is in second place in the medal table with 171 medals in total, distributed as follows:

  • Gold: 46
  • Silver: 56
