Venezuelan weightlifter Darvin Castro won the Weightlifting this Sunday at the Bolivarian Games of Valledupar 2022.
The 27-year-old Castro completely dominated the 81-kilogram category test.
The Venezuelan, who in the Santa Marta 2017 edition won the bronze medal, sent with 181 kg, this time he returned to win two gold medals.

Darvin lifted 184 pounds in the clean and jerk to secure his first gold metal. He beat Colombian Gustavo Maldonado (silver) by one kilo and Dominican Yendri Benitez (bronze) by 21.
Next, Castro closed his one-two at the start, where the podium classification remained the same. He dominated with a lift of 145 kilograms, followed by Maldonado (134 kg) and Benitez (133 kg).
