After her fifth place in the World Judo Championship, in Budapest, Anriquelis Barrios qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, becoming the 33rd representative of Venezuela.
Katiuska Santaella, president of the Venezuelan Judo Federation, shared the news through the social networks of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee (COV).
"The International Judo Federation in the figure of its sports director Wladimir Bartra, confirmed the classification of Anriquelis Barrios, after his outstanding performance today in the World Judo Championship," said the board.

With 720 points in the Olympic ranking and her fifth place in Budapest, the Venezuelan claimed to be among the best 18 of the season and sealed her ticket to the highest fair of the sport.
So far this year, the Venezuelan girl has achieved:
- Fifth place in the Doha Master
- Bronze at the Tashkent Grand Slam
- Silver at the Antalaya Grand Slam.
Tokyo will be the first Olympic experience for the 27-year-old for the Guayana´s girl, who competes in the -63kg.
