Russian Daniil Medvedev beat Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis 6-2, 6-2 this Thursday and qualified for the semifinal of the Los Cabos Tennis Open, ATP 250 tournament.
With 80 per cent of points won on his first serve, Medvedev began to impose conditions and in the fifth game he broke a 2-2 tie.

From there, he put together a chain of five consecutive games and headed for a 6-2 victory in 44 minutes.
In the semifinal Medvedev will face Serb Miomir Kecmakovic, the fourth seed, who beat American Brandon Nakashima 6-2, 6-4.
