The Spanish Bernabé Zapata surpassed the Wimbledon qualifier for the second consecutive year by defeating the Italian Stefano Caruso 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-3 and 6-3.
The top seed in qualifying beat the Italian and will play in the Wimbledon final draw for the second time in his career, after last year he also had to get through qualifying.

Zapata is having the best season of his career, with the round of XNUMX he achieved at Roland Garros, where only the German Alexander Zverev could stop him.
This will be the fifth Grand Slam final table played by Zapata, who has already achieved victories at the US Open and at Roland Garros.
Last year he couldn't with the Chilean Cristian Garin in the first round of Wimbledon.
