Cleiver Casanova performed a golden kata in Valledupar

Venezuela adds 21 medals in these games developed in the Colombian capital of Vallenato

The karate fighter Cleiver Casanova won this Saturday the sixth gold medal for Venezuela in the XIX Bolivarian Games Valledupar 2022.

Previously, the Olympian José Félix Quintero won the gold medal in the men's saber individual competition, after beating Colombian Mario Palacios in the final (15-4).

For his part, Luis Rovaina was dominant in the men's individual bowling event.

The other gold medals of the Creole delegation came thanks to the victory in judo of Fabiola Díaz in -52 kilograms and Kady Cabezo -57 kilograms.

Thanks to this great Saturday event, Venezuela (seven gold, six silver and eight bronze) is in second place in the medal table of these games held in the Colombian capital of vallenato.
