The Venezuelan judoka Anriquelis Barrios gave in this Saturday in the fight for the bronze medal in the -63 Kg category of the Grand Prix of Portugal.
The 29-year-old Creole fought for almost nine minutes. But she did not find the formula to beat the Croatian Ivan Oberan, who prevailed after 4:49 minutes of golden score.

Anriquelis had advanced to the semifinal after beating Amina Belkadi from Algeria by ippon in less than a minute.
However, the Venezuelan lost to Gabriella Moraes from Brazil in a match that lasted two minutes and 48 seconds.

On the other hand, Fabiola Díaz was very close to bronze in the -52 kg category and finished in fifth place.
