Yulimar Rojas triumphed with more than 15 meters

The Creole remains the most important figure in the world triple jump

The Venezuelan triple jumper and current world outdoor champion, Yulimar Rojas, dominated the last stop of the Diamond League held this Thursday in the city of Zurich, Switzerland.

The Creole took the lead in the competition with a 15-meter jump on her first attempt to show that she is now completely recovered from the tendinitis she suffered in the world championship.

The second jump ended in failure when stepping on the boundary line. However, in the third jump he maintained his good level and achieved a distance of 14.70 meters.

For the fourth jump Yulimar managed to surpass herself and achieved a jump of 15.15 meters that allowed her to extend her advantage against the other competitors.

Yulimar finished her fifth jump in a null manner and in the sixth round of the competition she once again demonstrated that she is the best in the world by repeating the jump of 15.15 meters

The second position of the competition went to the Jamaican Shanieka Ricketts with a jump of 14.78 meters, while the Cuban Liadagmis Povea was in third place with a jump of 14.73 meters.
