Yulimar Rojas: "It's been a very nice year"

The Venezuelan queen of the triple jump assured that she remains focused and enjoying the competitions to the fullest

This afternoon Yulimar Roja will continue to make history in world sports, as is customary in each jump and in each presentation.

Rojas will be competing in stop number 11 of the Diamond League, which will be based in the principality of Monaco.

In a humorous interview for World Athletics, the Venezuelan and world triple jump queen gave a bit of her experience in the sport.

"2023 has been fantastic, so far I am being very happy, enjoying myself and above all I am living my stage," he said.

In turn, the Creole indicated that this 2023 has been a very good year for her professionally and that she is making the most of it.

"It's been a very nice year and a year in which I'm learning and I'm being myself," said Yulimar.

Faced with the challenges that are presented to him, Rojas assured that he takes it in the best way, he fights to achieve his goals.

"I have always dreamed, I am a dreaming girl, I am a woman with goals and objectives too and I have always had that inclination towards sports (...) And speaking to you as a professional athlete is a dream come true"

The Olympic jumper also indicated that her family nucleus is essential to her. “My family is the strength I need to jump,” she said.

About her different jumps, the Creole said that: "You are forging whatever, you are creating a story and having seven of the best jumps in the world is incredible."

One of the usual questions came in this interview: 16 meters or a double at the Olympic Games? To which the Venezuelan queen replied that she opts for the Olympic double.

This afternoon Rojas will continue to make history in the Diamond League and will seek to leave his best record in the tournament.
