Nadal reviews his academy before traveling to Monte Carlo

The Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, third in the world list after the Serbian Novak Djokovic and the Russian Daniil Medvedev, has visited the state of construction of the new facilities of his academy in Manacor (Mallorca) before traveling to Monte Carlo to start the tour in beaten earth.

Rafa has verified the status of the 7 semi-covered clay courts of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, "which are already in a very advanced state," according to his academy in a press release.

The objective is that the extension can be ready by September, on the occasion of the start of the course in the Annual Program. Currently the academy of the winner of twenty Grand Slam titles has 140 players who live on the premises and who combine training with their academic studies.

The new courts can also be used by all Mallorcan people who are currently part of the Rafa Nadal Club, a sports center for Fitness, Tennis, Padel and Swimming that opened in September and has a great reception from the local public.
