Already a brand-new MotoGP world champion, the Spanish Joan Mir (Suzuki) will play the Portuguese Grand Prix without pressure, this weekend in Portimao, at the end of a season marked by the pandemic.

On the Portuguese circuit, Frenchman Fabio Quartararo will have the chance to finish the season as he started it, with a victory, after the disappointment of not being able to succeed the legendary Marc Márquez in the record.

"It is a pity that we have not been able to fight for the championship until this last heat but what I want above all is to have fun in this last race of the year and find the good feelings and speed lost since the French Grand Prix," said the Frenchman.

Mir's teammate in Suzuki, Álex Rins, will be looking for a good result for Suzuki to achieve the treble: drivers', constructors' and teams' championships.
