Nairo Quintana put an end to the rumors about his career as a professional cyclist, the Colombian came out and clarified his future.
Quintana, one of the best in the world in the discipline, does not give in despite the bump in his career after leaving Arkéa.
In a press conference that he gave in the Colombian capital, Bogotá, the cyclist assured that he will not give up so easily.
"A true cyclist does not give up in the face of adversity (...) I will continue fighting to compete and to continue on the bike until my body and my mind resist," he said.

Quintana, a 32-year-old Colombian, has won the Vuelta a España and the Giro d'Italia trophies.
“Today I want to tell you that I am in good shape to continue, the chances of competing and my desire to continue doing so are there, I am not giving up and I am moving forward”.
The rider defined his future, which is currently still a bit opaque in the search for a new team in the top flight.
"I have always been willing to answer questions," he said on the subject of doping.
“First of all, it recognizes in Colombian cycling men and women who overcome all kinds of circumstances: poverty, inequality, discrimination and injustice”, concluded Quintana.
