Adolfo Suárez dominated the Jiu-Jitsu Circuit

The Venezuelan triumphed in the 'Papá' Carrillo gym in Parque Miranda

Adolfo Santiago Duárez became this weekend the champion of the Venezuelan Circuit of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (CVBJJ) held at the "Papá" Carrillo gym in Parque Miranda.

This is the first time that the athlete competed in the country after a seven-year absence because he focused his career on the mats in the United States and Europe.

'Adolfito' on his return participated in the black belt category, where he remained as absolute champion.

"It is one of the best experiences that I have lived here in Venezuela at the Jiu-Jitsu level, it is an honor to return to my country, to be able to participate and see how this sport has grown," said Suárez.

The final match was against Alexis Sánchez, defending champion of the tournament, whom he beat 9-0 to become the new king of jiu-jitsu.

"For me it is a pleasure to share with friends and athletes with whom I came to compete with them for many years and they saw me grow, I am very happy to be here," he concluded.
