Venezuelan winger Erickson Gallardo was announced this Wednesday as the new addition to Phoenix Rising FC of the USL (second division in the United States).
The Venezuelan already has international experience, not only with clubs but also with the national team, being part of the last calls of the Argentine professor José Perkeman.
Gallardo concluded his stint with Toronto FC of Major League Soccer (MLS), which allowed him to play in the 2022 campaign in the Futve League with Zamora FC, which ended as líder in the regular round of the venezuelan tournament.
During his stay in his native country, the 26-year-old averaged 10 goals in 31 games under Noel Sanvicente.

“Erickson will bring a lot of speed and verticality,” Rising FC head coach Juan Guerra said. “He is a player who has won important titles. He comes to Phoenix very hungry and ambitious. I have no doubt that our fans will enjoy watching him play."
