The Venezuelan Under-21 National Team debuted today with a victory against the Indonesian team 1 goal for 0 in the Maurice Revello Tournament.
The winning goal came in the 69th minute, when Adrián Cova crossed into the area from the right flank and Daniel Pérez rose above the Indonesian defenders.
Pérez's header gave Venezuela the first points in its first participation in the Maurice Revello Tournament.
Despite not having shown its best version, La Vinotinto managed to start its participation with the right foot in the competition.

The next match for the U-21 team, which is in group B, will be against the Ghana eleven, on June 2 at the Stade Jules Ladoumegue in Vitrolles. Venezuela will close the group stage against Mexico on June 5 at the Stade De Lattre in Aubagne.
