The president of the National Institute of Civil Aviation (Inac), M/G Juan Manuel Teixeira, reported that the Venezuelan airline Conviasa will fly to Qatar for the World Cup.
The information was given in a radio interview for the program Dos + Dos de Unión Radio and was reviewed on the Inac Twitter account @InacVzla.
Teixeira expressed that "the national air sector works together to become the hub of Latin America again, an example of this is that Conviasa will fly to Qatar."
This week from the International Air and Space Fair (Fidae) held in Chile, the president of Inac signed a memorandum of understanding with the aeronautical authorities of the governments of Argentina and Chile to expand commercial air operations with both nations.

In addition, the Inac designated the airline Conviasa to operate regularly to and from Santiago de Chile, as well as to and from Argentina with a frequency of 14 weekly flights.
On April 1, the president of Inac met with aeronautical authorities from Uruguay, Malaysia, Chile, Cuba, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Brazil and Qatar in order to evaluate joint agendas that allow strengthening bilateral relations in aviation matters and thus strengthen the civil aviation of the parties.
In the upcoming elections to the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the Venezuelan State appears as a candidate to occupy a position in Part II, highlighting the potential offered by the Venezuelan aviation sector for the benefit of international civil aeronautics.
