The Bolivian soccer team put an end this Tuesday to the bad streak that haunted them after eight consecutive defeats and beat Haiti 3-1 in a friendly match played in Santa Cruz that incidentally meant the first triumph of the Venezuelan César Farías since who came to the bench in August.
La Verde, under the command of Venezuelan César Farías, remembered to win with a double by Erwin Saavedra (ms.26 and 37) and a score by Gilbert Álvarez (m.55), who previously (m.21) scored his own goal .
It is the first victory for Farías since last August he took charge of the Bolivian team, which had not won a game so far this year.
In the first half of the game, Bolivia was surprised with an opening in favor of Haiti through an own goal by Álvarez in the 21st minute.
Saavedra equalized for the locals in the 26th minute and repeated in the 37th, putting the Verde de Farías ahead, who was able to go to rest more calmly with the 2-1 score.
The third goal and Álvarez's claim came in the 55th minute, when an error by the goal and the defense of Haiti facilitated the Bolivian counterattack taken advantage of by the striker who plays for Wilstermann in Cochabamba.
The visiting team pressed in the final minutes, but the fate of both was already cast.
