The UCV FC goalkeeper, Carlos González, was the hero of last Sunday's match against Deportivo Táchira in Pueblo by saving a penalty and rescuing a golden point as a visitor.
“Thank God we got a positive result. Despite not being a victory, a point was added that is important for the club's aspirations", González expressed after the game to the tricolor press.
The penalty saved by Edder Farías at minute 32' after Kevin González equalized the score was the most important play of the game.

“The only one I listened to was Luis Blanco to throw me there. At the time I didn't think of anything other than lifting the game”, commented the tricolor goalkeeper.
Carlos recognized the good work done as a team. “I sincerely stepped in when necessary. Also thanks to the defenders who did not allow more attacks and shots from the opposing team and the exceptional work of the midfielders and forwards throughout the game, ”he concluded.
