Deportivo Miranda got the last berth in the Eastern Group to the quarterfinal round of the silver category of Venezuelan soccer with Miranda's crucial 0-1 victory over Marítimo, thanks to a goal by Miguel Morena at the new Catia La stadium Sea.
Matchday 14 of the Futve 2 League was also decisive for other teams. In Porlamar, Nueva Esparta fell 0-2 against Atlético La Cruz but despite the defeat they kept third place in the Group and will be present in the quarterfinals that start next week.
The others classified in the Eastern Group are Bolívar and Marítimo who secured their classification last day.
In the Western Group, Trujillanos completed the qualifying group after beating Academia Rey at the José Alberto Pérez de Valera stadium by a score of 1-0 with a goal from Carlos Gil.
The other teams classified in the closely fought Western Group are Real Frontera, Héroes de Falcón and Ureña SC.

Likewise, the crosses of the quarterfinals that will begin next week in round-trip series were defined.
Miranda, fourth in the Eastern Group, will begin his transition to first against Ureña, first in Occidental.
