Caracas FC regained victory after beating Zulia Fútbol Club 3-1 this Saturday at the UCV Olympic Stadium.
Juanpi Añor, Samson Akinyoola and Saúl Guarirapa guided the Avilanian victory.
Dream debut for 'Juanpi'
A lot of parity within the field was experienced in the first passages of the game. But it was the visitors who had the first danger, which was repelled by Alain Baroja after a shot by Ricardo Ávila.
Albert Zambrano did the same at 21' with a shot that Edixson González cleared.
A minute later the match was 1-0 with a superb goal from Juan Pablo Añor, in his first game wearing the Rojo shirt.
"Juanpi" received a pass from Saúl Guarirapa in three quarters of the field, turned to avoid the mark and sent a powerful left-footed shot that left the Zulia goalkeeper without reaction.
The first half ended with an advantage by the minimum for the Reds of Ávila.
The 'King' of the goal returned
In the second half, the Avilanians managed to achieve victory. But before that, Zulia FC managed to tie the scoreboard in the 59th minute with a goal from Lewis Peña.
Looking for a quick reaction, Francesco Stifano brought in Bryant Ortega and Ade Oguns, and the answer was not long in coming.
In the 75th minute, Ortega sent a deep ball to Samson Akinyoola, who then slipped past several rivals and finished with a right foot to make it 2-1 on the board.

Without slowing down, those led by Francesco Stifano continued to stalk the Marabino goal, until at minute 86 Saúl Guarirapa sentenced the match with a subtle shot from the right to score 3-1 with the assistance of Akinyoola.
With this victory, the Caracas Fútbol Club ended a string of five games without getting the three points and thus reached 23 units.
