Women's football is celebrating. The players of our country are ready for the initial whistle of the Women's Futve League to be given in 2023.
There will be nine teams that will compete for everything in a new edition that will be played after a year of hiatus.
These nine teams will be made up of two groups. In A, the newcomers Academia Puerto Cabello, Deportivo Táchira, Estudiantes de Mérida and Zamora will face each other in the western zone.
While for group B they will collide: Caracas, Metropolitanos, Carabobo and Adiffem to complete the central-eastern zone.
It will be precisely in this area that this soccer edition will begin, which will have the capital clash between Adiffem against Metropolitanos on the Pumas Park courts.
Caracas, for its part, will do the same, receiving Carabobo at the Gaetano Luongo courts at 11:00 a.m.
While, the purple combo will be free this date.
Meanwhile, the action in the west will start in a week specifically.
There they will be measured: Zamora against Academia Puerto Cabello and Deportivo Táchira against Estudiantes de Mérida in the "Clásico Andino" of Futve.

Women's Futve League format
In this edition, which has a considerably reduced number of teams compared to the last tournament, it will be played in this way: A round trip groups. The top four from each zone will advance to the quarterfinals and then to the semifinals (both matches will be decided in home and away matches).
The grand final will be played in a single match at the headquarters of the team that has been in the best position in terms of points throughout the entire competition.
The winning club will have the option not only to lift the trophy as champions of Venezuela, but will have the quota to play the sold-out Copa Libertadores this year, which will take place in Colombia from October 5 to 19.
Just a few weeks ago the Copa Venezuela was held, which ULA won, defeating Hermanos Páez 0-2 in the final, this is as part of the FVF's strategies to continue promoting women's sports activity in the country.
However, the players ask that the tournament not last so long on hold because it affects the competitiveness and good development of the soccer players for the future.
Adiffem with two reinforcements
Adiffem was greatly reinforced for this tournament by bringing Andrea "La Zurda" Pérez, a player with a long history in women's soccer, who arrives to "contribute her bit to the professional growth of the girls" both on and off the field.
Another of the one that comes to strengthen this squad is the best player of the last edition Floriángel Apóstol. For the 2022 MVP, arriving at this club meant "an important step in her career." She in turn pointed out that this season "she will seek to improve her records harvested last year."
