In Caracas, a sports project has been brewing since 2021, and that has been affecting the lives of many girls who have the dream of being soccer players; That club is called Adiffem and according to the words of the team president, Freddy Da Rocha: "this is more than a social project, it is a commitment to women's football."
Just this Thursday the presentation of the squad for the upcoming Futve Women's League tournament was made, where the club announced its players and coaching staff for the championship, in addition to their home and away clothing.
“This year we are going to compete much more than last year. We have learned things about the league that we did not know because it was our first year”, stated María Gisela Núñez, the club's Sports Manager.
A new start for Adiffem
After a great season in their first year as a professional where they managed to reach the quarterfinals, the team led by Ezequiel Moreno will seek to overcome this feat and register their name as Venezuelan champions and representatives in this year's Copa Libertadores.
But to achieve this goal, the players will have to face a demanding tournament against tough rivals.
In this case they will be located in group B where they will share an area with four more clubs such as: Caracas, Carabobo, Metropolitanos and Monagas.

To achieve a good performance after basically a year without playing, the strategist commented that "anxiety management" will be essential and for this they will have the experience that the player from Merida, Andrea "La Zurda" Pérez, will contribute.
Precisely, the former ULA player highlighted that: “without a well-structured league we cannot require teams to compete in international cups. This is everyone's job."
For the first day, the team will face their pair of Metropolitans this Sunday on the Puma Park courts.
