This clash was a sample of when the team goes through adversity is when it grows the most. This was how the Venezuelan strategist Carlos Salinas defended his team.
“When we are in adversity, we propose and we arrive. That is the message, we have to play if we don't play we get in trouble, ”he said in the mixed zone for Futsal 40.
The Venezuelan cast managed to match the actions and for a moment thought about giving them a defeat, however, Panta resisted. “We suffered capable of neglect, but I can't complain about that. I am left with the momentum of the boys, the recovery in adversity, we have already experienced this ”.
For the second half of the commitment, the Inca squad was left without a player on the field after a direct red card from the referee, this action put the foreigners at a disadvantage.
“Of course it affects you to defend yourself with three and not with four. Thank God we have a technical team that takes care of all the details, we already work on these situations and we have specialist players for that”, added the coach.
Salinas faces several compatriots on the bench, he is one of the four tricolor coaches who served in the Libertadores Futsal 2023. Given this scenario, the professor is proud of the good level of the Venezuelan coaches.
“There is the taste of the Copa Libertadores that is in your country, imagine how many Venezuelan coaches are trained and want to have this possibility. I take it that way, with a lot of gratitude to God, but a lot of commitment, ”he concluded.
Panta Walon managed to get into the quarterfinals and now she hopes to meet her rival. The action will resume this Thursday at the Poliedro de Caracas.
