Pedro González 'Pedri', a Barcelona player, commented on his brief but intense professional career that he has not set himself “the goal of being the Ballon d'Or”, although it would be “crazy to reach that level”.
“I want to win as much as possible with the team and with the national team. On a personal level, I have never set myself challenges, for example, a Ballon d'Or or an individual trophy, but hey, I always try to improve day by day to one day be at that level", said Pedri.
“I have been able to win a Kopa award and a Golden Boy, which I think are trophies that not everyone has the opportunity to win,” he added.
The player from Tenerife, recent league champion with Barcelona, also talked about how youngsters are now better prepared for elite sport.

“You can see a change in that young people arrive at professional football much earlier. You can see that people today come up a little more prepared in that sense, ”explained Pedri.
