Tracheos resumed in Caracas and Valencia

In order to maintain the conditions that allow them to participate in public competitions, the horses housed in the Valencia and La Rinconada racetracks completed the usual training session.

The exercises were carried out under strict security measures in which only duly identified trainers, stables and stable workers could attend, complying with the recommendations demanded by the health authorities and the institution to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

In the Cabriales oval a day was held from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, with a large participation of steeds, who were then normally attended in the stables with the necessary personnel.

In La Rinconada, two shifts were completed under the supervision of the authorities and duly accredited personnel to access the facilities.

"The thoroughbreds are cared for daily by their respective stables and maintain their daily training," said workers' managers.

Like many sports in Venezuela, the Valencia and La Rinconada racetracks chose to suspend the activities scheduled for last weekend and even the managers have not confirmed the date on which the resumption of competitions will take place, but the attendees to the tracheo sessions they consider that the activity in the national ovals will continue to be suspended.
