The national equestrian is in mourning for the sensitive death of former rider and tracker Luis Ramón Sosa, with a long history at the La Rinconada Racetrack, where he graduated from the Jesús Marino Escobar promotion, directed by Luis Monasterios, in the 1973 season, along with the champion Juan Vicente Tovar, Ricardo Wloka, Jesús Bello, Jesús Méndez, Freddy Mora and Jesús Márquez, among others.

Sosa, son of the also remembered rider Luis Bolívar, winner of the 1966 Simón Bolívar Classic with the Venezuelan Socopó, ventured into horse racing from an early age and worked with a preference for coaches Domingo Noguera Mora, Vicente Lombardi and Agustín Bezara, for 40 years in the profession.

Sosa was the winner in the Coche oval. In recent years he served as a tracker due to weight, showing dominance over thoroughbreds. Our sincere words of condolence reach your family and friends.
