As the date for the celebration of the 2022 Caribbean Equestrian Series approaches at the La Rinconada Racecourse, preparations are being made in the countries that will meet in the event scheduled for December 11 with six selective competitions and the participation of renowned professionals and international steeds.
The Caribbean Equestrian Confederation announced on its Twitter account @ConfeCaribe that more than 100 mares have been nominated to participate in the Speed Cups in 1.200 meters and Dama del Caribe in 1.800 meters, two of the specials that will be held during the event and that will have prizes of 500.000 dollars each and will present the Clásico del Caribe as the central test of the show.
“A complete success. More than a hundred nominees for the Speed Cup and the Caribbean Lady Cup 2022. Owners and/or breeders from all member countries paid nominations and expressed their desire to attend Venezuela.
On the other hand, the Midnight Koffe won the 2.000-meter Classic Juan Pablo Duarte held at the Hipodromo V Centenario in the Dominican Republic, ridden by Esmerlin Justo, and became triple crowned number seventeen of that country.
The son of Learn, owned by the Marianne stable, with a record of seven victories in fifteen presentations, would be one of the rivals of the Venezuelan steeds in the Clásico Internacional del Caribe
