The colt with Venezuelan connections will look for the surprise in the second of the Triple Crown

The colt Simplification, fourth to Rich Strike in last Saturday's Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, will be ridden by Panamanian John Velazquez in the 1.900-meter Preakness Stakes.
