During the mid-year meeting held on June 1 in Panama, the Caribbean Equestrian Confederation ratified the island country as the venue for the 2023 Caribbean Equestrian Series, announced for the first days of December with the participation of prominent steeds that perform performances in the ovals of the Caribbean area.
The information was provided by the association that brings together prominent owners of thoroughbred racing horses on its Twitter account @ConfCaribe and in which the following can be seen: "The Panama 2023 Caribbean Equestrian Series has been approved at the Half-Year Assembly of the Caribbean Equestrian Confederation”.
Directors of the Caribbean Equestrian Confederation, among whom were Luigi Miglietti and José Zajía, clarified the doubts related to the holding of the event that will have the Caribbean Classic as its main event, exclusively for three-year-old colts, at a distance of 1.800 meters and $500.000 prize.
The 2023 Caribbean Equestrian Series consists of six international events with interesting awards and is made up of: the Caribbean Classic, Caribbean Confraternity Cup, Speed Cup, Caribbean Lady Cup, Female Confraternity Cup and Imported Invitational Cup, scheduled to be held in the Presidente Remón Racetrack in Panama, a circuit that began with the organization of the show that will bring together a select group of highly-classified steeds, jockeys and trainers at the most important racetracks in the world.
