As the date for the two versions of the Oaklawn Stakes, scheduled as the main competitions on Saturday in Oaklawn Park, approaches, the expectation grows in the equestrian environment to see in action 22 outstanding three-year-old foals in search of the qualification for the long-awaited Kentucky Derby on September 2 at Churchill Downs.
The first division seems to be at the disposal of the speedy Charlatan, a son of Speightstwon in Authenticity, by Quit American, winner of two races in the same number of presentations that will go to his trial by fire and came out favored with track one in the 1.800-meter route, a location that will be used by its rider, Martín García, to place it at the top from the start, glued to the rail and advance in sets that allow it to conserve energy for the final sections.
It will not be an easy race due to the presence of Gouverneur Morris, a descendant of the Constitution in Addison Run, who will ride the experienced John Velázquez, with two victories in four performances and is considered a very useful prospect in the intermediate distances, as well as Jungle Runner, Shootes Shool and Winning Impression, among seven other steeds that are on the rise and will be hard to beat.

The second version of the Oaklawn Stakes will feature the performance of Venezuelans Juan Carlos Ávila, Samy Camacho, Víctor Martínez and Javier Castellano, who have indicated their optimism on social media.
Coach Juan Carlos Ávila and rider Samuel Camacho will be responsible for the performance of King Guillermo, an example that in his last start was surprisingly won at the Tampa Bay Stakes, a victory that gave him 50 points for the Kentucky Derby and now he will try to demonstrate that his previous victory was not by chance and he deserves to perform in the so-called Carrera de las Rosas.
King Guillermo, owned by former baseball player Víctor Martínez, is a son of Uncle Mo in Slow Sand, by Dixieland Band, who has two photos in four appearances and who will jump for the number 4 track position in 1.800 meters and will have as his main rival the Unbeatable in three outings, Nadal, a son of Blames in Ascending Ángel, by Pulpit, who will be located in box number 5 with the leadership of Joel Rosario and is one of the main players in the bets.

Farmington Road will try to take advantage of the fight presented by the sprinters to seek surprise in the decisive stages.

Trophy Chaser packed
Trophy Chaser, a coach trained by Juan Carlos Ávila who will ride Samuel Camacho, will seek his third consecutive victory on Saturday at the Oaklawn Handicap, a test in which Venezuelans Javier Castellano and Oscar Manuel González will also participate.
The son of Twirling Candy in European Union, by Succsssful Appeal, with four conquests in 11 performances, comes from two consecutive wins and in his previous one he won the Challenger Stakes, with strength in the final meters.
According to reports published on social media, Trophy Chaser maintains conditions and will be difficult to defeat.
In this selective Javier Castellano will be on Night Ops, a winner of five races who surpasses himself in each performance and is listed as one of the enemies of the main favorites.
Coach Oscar Manuel González will be in charge of saddling Identifier, undefeated in two appearances this season at Gulfstream Park and with an overall campaign of 11-4, which comes from winning the Hal's Hope Stakes, (G-3) and has outstanding exercise.
The appointment will be next Saturday in Oaklawn Park, one of the few horse riding circuits that maintains the show without the presence of an audience that will present an interesting program.
