Maximum Security, considered one of the best specimens of recent years in the United States, will seek revenge against Improbable in the two kilometers of the Breeders' Cup Classic, the most important test of the gala day program for the weekend at Keeneland, Kentucky, with the contest in a series of grade one competitions.

The son of New Year's Day in Lil Indy, by Anasheed, with a record of 10 wins in 13 presentations, will come out as one of the main favorites with the riding of Panamanian Luis Sáez and training of Bob Baffert, in a race that will have 10 participants.

Maximum Security, an exemplar who crossed the finish line in first place in the 2019 Kentucky Derby and was distanced, fell in his previous to Improbable in the Awesome Again Stakes, in Santa Anita Derby, but before that defeat he had achieved the Pacific Classic Stakes, the San Diego Handicap and the Saudi Cup in the United Arab Emirates, a triumph that places him as one of the main contenders for the title as the best equine of 2020 in the United States.

"The horse has improved enormously for this commitment and once again has to resumed the winning route," his trainer told the media.

Tiz The Law the enemy

Without a doubt, one of his main rivals is Tiz The Law, winner of the Belmont Stakes and second to Authentic in the Kentucky Derby, a race in which he fell all honors.

According to track reports from Keeneland, Constitution's descendant in Tizfiz, by Tiznow, with a six-win season in eight appearances, stood out with the best drills for the next race.

This time he can advance more calmly in the initial stages, to try to distance himself from his opponents in the final stretch and reach a new selective for his campaign.
