One of the most popular jockeying agents in Venezuela, he died on Thursday at the age of 95, in his homeland, Zulia state.

And we refer to Jesús Ángel “Ciriaquito” García, secretary of riders and a successful forecaster, who was linked to Zulia's horse racing for almost 80 years.

He was a figure much loved by all, whose beginnings go back to the auctions at the La Limpia Racecourse, and at the end of the 70s, he became secretary of the jockey Alfredo Russo and Angel Paredes, although his greatest apogee of triumphs, he acquired it together to the Canarian jockey Damián Quintero Machín, to the point that they managed to conquer 8 statistics in that yard.

He became popular on the radio forecasting program "Monitor Hípico" by the narrator Héctor Alonzo and Aly Khan, a space in which he made a key with the late Jesuino Brito, highlighting the equestrian data of "El Ciriaco at closing".

The famous narrator Héctor Alonzo wrote the following on the social network twitter: “What sad news, my old Ciriaquito. Yesterday I just asked Levi Martínez about him. What a pain God. I loved him like a grandpa. Rest in peace my old man ”.

The narrator Manuel Ortega Chacón placed: “Mourning. El Mayor del Zulia has just passed away ”.
