Super Miguel responded in the fifth race of yesterday's program and won the Trophy 50 Years of the Cañonero's feat for its owners, as a tribute from the equestrian authorities to the Venezuelan team that performed the feat in 1971.

The steed that César Morón presented in optimal conditions ran between the intermediates for most of the route, while the tordillo My Towering Mate and Maradona fought for first place in sets of 24 ”2 and 48” 2, for the first and second 400 meters.

The race was reduced to a strong fight between My Towering Mate and Maradona for the first place, which Super Miguel took advantage of, to move around the inside of the track with Welder Vásquez riding and score the victory in time of 87 ”4, for 1.400 meters.

Maradona kept the second position ahead of Tower Star. Fourth came Reckless and closed My Towering Mate, which was sold out at the end after struggling during the opening stages.

Draxler surprised

Draxler was a surprise in the sixth race and the Labor Day Trophy was added, with the riding of Álvaro Finol and presentation of Ramiro Caldeira. Draxler registered a time of 71 ”3, for the 1.200 meters and left Camouflaged in second place and Compadre Chus in third. Fourth, Rey Guzzo finished and Gran Guerrero closed the scoreboard.

Draxler left a dividend of 2.779.879 bolivars for the winner in what was the biggest surprise of the day.
