Benjamín Delgado, 21, was hospitalized for 27 days due to a fall

Last Tuesday, apprentice rider Benjamín Delgado died in Panama, with an outstanding campaign at the Presidente Remón Racecourse, where he won his first victory with the Complotado horse in the 2020 season and graduated from the Laffit Pincay Jr. Technical Training Academy for Jockeys.

Benjamín, 21 years old, ceased to exist after 27 days confined in the San Tomás Hospital, in Panama, after falling during training on July 5 and suffering serious brain injuries from which he could not recover. despite the efforts of doctors.

Delgado, who was born in Darién, had been incarcerated since July 5 in the care center, after suffering brain contusions and during his career he reached 11 victories on 24 occasions.

He ranked second in 126 starts and was considered a bright prospect in equestrian.
