The dazzling lady of Venezuelan horse racing, María Esperanza Miglietti, will meet to grace the Caribbean party this year 2022, after being together with Ana María Freudman, Peggy Azqueta, Morella Trejo and others who have been driving forces in the breeding of fine blood horses.
María Esperanza married the turfman Luigi Miglietti and her equestrian vein increased with the equines in the Monumental stud farm -located in Nirgua- and the Monumental Farm in Kentucky.
Possibly the greatest international success for the Miglietti family was Secreto's triumph in the 295th Epsom Derby in 1984.
María Esperanza has had resounding successes in Venezuela, along with her son Luigi, since she has in her showcase the prizes of 4 Simón Bolívar winners, they had the triple crowned El Gran César and 4 Horses of the Year, in addition to more than 25 champions classics.
“The world of the thoroughbred. Equestrian Glossary” is a book written by María Esperanza Miglietti, who we had the happy opportunity to baptize in 2003 at the Jockey Club of Venezuela, La Rinconada; and that time she told us: "My husband and I ventured into horse racing more than fifty years ago. Then we had a short break and we returned with more enthusiasm about forty years ago, as owners and as breeders, a time when I founded the Haras Monumental ”, recounted the lady of the local horse riding.
María Esperanza said that the Princess Run mare marked her a lot, but "undoubtedly the horse Templado has been my best specimen, winner of two classics in the United States," she stressed.
