The rider Robert Capriles and the coach Reynaldo Yánez, winners of the 2019 Golden Cap at the La Rinconada Racecourse and favorites to repeat the title in 2020, will start the season on all trains with important commitments that should allow them to visit the venue of winners in more than one chance.
Capriles, with two consecutive titles and the advice of the agent Alí Gallardo in the selection of mounts, works daily in order to get commitments that allow him to ratify his abilities as a driver of thoroughbred race horses.
The Falconian, who easily defeated Zullian Jaime "Pocho" Lugo, stated that his goal is to ride at the racetracks in the United States and for this he carries out the procedures required by the competent authorities.
For his part, Reynaldo Yánez, who achieved his first statistic last year with 83 victories, has an outstanding equine population that will allow him to maintain the winning rhythm and seek his second Golden Cap consecutively.
"My goal is to continue working hard in order to maintain the winning rhythm and complete a season equal to or greater than last year," said the coach who in his first season ranked second in the Caribbean International Classic and conquered the Classic Owners La Rinconada with his pupil Great Omer against the American Tap Daddy, among other selective tests.
