Miguel Cabrera sets off the alarms in Detroit

The Venezuelan was added to the disabled list with a left biceps strain.

The big league Miguel Cabrera activated the alarms in the Detroit Tigers, because he was withdrawn from the commitment against the Kansas City Royals due to alleged discomfort in his left biceps.

This fact affects the good performance of the Venezuelan, who had been included in the lineup of the Rayados in three of the last four games.

Cabrera was placed on the disabled list with a left biceps strain, club manager AJ Hinch told reporter Evan Petzold.

"We're hopeful that he can get back in the batter's box this year. We want him to have more at-bats », expressed the helmsman.

Miguel is expected to stay off the diamond for 10 to 14 days to recover.

"We don't know how long it will be before he recovers, that's the biggest problem with a strain," Hinch said.

This season, the Venezuelan has a batting average of .256 with four home runs, 92 hits, 37 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
