“Salvy” reached 700 trailers in MLB

The Valencian became the 16th Venezuelan player to collect such a figure

The Venezuelan Salvador Pérez (Salvy), figure of the Kansas City Royals, arrived this Thursday night at 700 trailers in the Major Leagues (MLB, for its acronym in English).

In the bottom of the fifth inning, "Salvy" hit a hit off Nick Pivetta, starter for the Boston Red Sox, to drive in Nick Lopez.

With that charter, the native of Valencia, Carabobo state, became the 16th Venezuelan player to reach 700 RBIs.

Also the third receiver to collect the aforementioned number after Víctor Martínez (1.178) and Ramón Hernández (757).

In addition to the aforementioned single, "Salvy" hit the ball out of the park in the seventh inning to give the Royals a comfortable lead.

According to Baseball Savant, the "El Nino" connection, with two runners on base, posted an exit speed of 110.4 miles per hour and traveled 346 feet.

With this hit from four corners, the designated hitter also has 15 "home runs" in 2022 and 215 for life in the "Big Show".

Thanks to the day of "Salvy", who went 4-2, with a home run and four produced, the Royals managed to prevail (7 to 3) over the Red Sox.
