The Kansas City Royals sent Carlos Hernandez to Triple-A on Friday, a day after the Venezuelan pitcher recorded his shortest outing of the season.

RHP Ronald Bolaños placed on the disabled list.
INF Adalberto Mondesi is transferred to the 60-day injured list.
So far this season, the native of Guayana, Bolívar state, has been inconsistent in each of his seven appearances.
The 25-year-old starter only made it past the fifth inning on April 24 against the Seattle Mariners.

After two months into the harvest, Carlos Hernández is 0-3 with a high ERA of 9.10.
The Royals hope the Guyanese can reconnect with focus and rhythm in the minor leagues.
