Chicago Cubs outfielder Rafael “Balita” Ortega has improved his offense as the season has progressed.
In his most recent match with the "cubs"; Last Wednesday, he collected three hits in five at-bats, with two RBIs, raising his average to .316 (19-for-6) with homers, three runs scored and the same number of drives.
Far away seems to have been that first month of the campaign, where he barely registered an average of .204 (49-10) with only one RBI, to combine for a batting percentage of .298 (114-34) after June and what goes June, and try to get closer to the form he exhibited in the final months of last season.
Likewise, “Balita” has had a very outstanding month of June, where he exhibits an offensive line of .333/.407/.458/.865 with five runs scored, four walks and six walks.
Meanwhile, he's just one of five Cubs players with at least 10 multi-hit games (he has 11), and in the entire regular round he's hitting .270 (163-for-44) with 11 RBIs and a .363 OBP. .
