The Japanese Shohei Ohtani, of the Los Angeles Angels, failed Thursday night to break the Texas Rangers' offense.
Despite starting his pitching work with the game in his favor, thanks to a home run by Mike Trout, Ohtani was punished during his visit to Globe Life Field.
The Japanese phenom only managed to stay on the mound for three and two-thirds innings.

In his second start of the year, the right-hander gave up six hits, including a grand slam, and as many earned runs.
It is not the first time that Ohtani has allowed six lines, since the Houston Astros managed to do the aforementioned number on September 10, 2021.
After his performance tonight, Ohtani, who lost the game, drops to 0-2 with a 7.56 earned run average.
