Miggy stalks marks from Ichiro and Yastrzemski

The pride of La Pedrera returned from the injured list with a stellar plan

The Venezuelan Miguel Cabrera (Miggy), figure of the Detroit Tigers, returned to action on Monday after passing through the disabled list and did so in a stellar plan against the Baltimore Orioles to get closer to the marks of Ichiro Suzuki and Carl Yastrzemski.

In his first at-bat, Miggy hit a line drive that fell in front of the left fielder and allowed Javier "El Mago" Báez to hit a quick run from first base to score.

With this hairline pushed, the pride of La Pedrera, Aragua state, was two to match the 1.844 RBIs of the immortal Yastrzemski.

Later, the Venezuelan scored another hit to reach 3.081 hits for life, eight behind the speedy Ichiro.

For his part, Tyler Alexander, who reached the seventh inning pitched No-Hitter, scored the victory (4-10).

The Tigers took this game by shutout (11 to 0) and gave the Orioles a hard setback, who are looking to get into the wild card spots of the American League.
