Miggy cuts distance from Winfield

The "Major Tiger" is only 7 unstoppable behind Dave's historic mark

Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City witnessed this Tuesday a new page in the history of Miguel Cabrera in the Major Leagues.

"El Tigre Mayor" did not stop in his last season in the Big Top and connected his hit number 3.103 of his life in MLB.

Now Miggy is only 7 unstoppable from the historic mark achieved by the immortal Dave Winfield (3.110 hits) in the 22nd place of all time.

The boy from Maracay unloaded his hit in the sixth inning before the pitches of the Kansas City reliever, José Cuas. In this match the victory went to the Royals with a 4-1 score.

Miggy continues his march to leave the Winfield mark behind in the coming days and continue to inscribe his name in the history books of modern baseball.

This last campaign of Cabrera as a professional player has become a total party in each scenario in which it is presented.
